This CD contains Ron Goodwin’s Extended Symphonic Suites from the original film scores of the four famous Miss Marple Films, released in the 1960’s starring the redoubtable Margaret Rutherford, and adapted from Agatha Christie’s novels. In addition, there is his film music for “Lancelot and Guinevere”, and “Force 10 from Navarone”. The Miss Marple, stories revised for UK television starring Joan Hickson, are currently highly popular in many countries, especially Germany.
