• Since 2000 Urban Tunélls Klezmerband have given new life to an old musical tradition, ‘klezmer’ music.

• The four experienced Norwegian musicians : Tor-Petter Aanes, piano, lead vocal; Morten Michelsen, clarinets, backing vocal; Jovan Pavlovic, accordion, backing vocal; Sondre Meisfjord, double bass, backing vocal - play with passion and energy.

• Their interpretations are original, yet they play the klezmer with respect and awareness of the cultural legacy - rooted in the folk music of Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
