o Turn Up The House Lights presents a previously unreleased Bo Diddley concert, recorded in Rennes in 1989. It was a truly memorable performance with Bo backed brilliantly by Barrence Whitfield’s band, The Savages.
o Here is the full fabulous concert, featuring many of his best-known numbers, as well as an interview with Bo after the gig; plus two bonus tracks (with Bo showing his sense of humour) recorded at a club in Woodstock in 1975.
o On June 2, 2008, Bo Diddley hung up his legendary guitar rectangular, for good. Although not always acknowledged enough during his lifetime, he was one of the true founding fathers of rock’n'roll and a massive influence on generations of guitarists, musicians and bands.
o "A formidable musician, a huge force in music, and he exerted a huge influence on us - Mick Jagger (oration at Bo Diddley’s funeral).
